Pick up Your phone!!

SO i have this bad habit of screening my calls before i pick up (sounds better that way). People who know me swear i just dont pick up and i ignore their calls. Me i say sometimes i just want some peace and quiet. last week was one of those times i wished i had picked up my fone.

I went to the mall to do some shopping and i bumped into my friend BA. She had a hard time finding a yellow shirt which was our uniform(ushers) for the weekend. SO together we galivanted the mall not even shopping for yellow top but other stuffs. Anyways after lunch and 3 hours of fun and spending money, we parted. BA was off that day and she still wanted to while away time so she said she was going to barnes and nobles to feed her eyes. Well, on my way home, i had like 4 missed calls from as number i didnt recognise and of course i didnt listen to my messages. Later that evening in church BA saw me and was like " ehn tell me you didnt see my missed calls"

I was like "oh was that you calling"?

BA: Yeah whateva

Me: What was wrong

BA: Well, i got to B&N and could not find parking and was wondering what was going on

Me: ok?

BA: turns out Taylor Hicks from american idol was signing autographs

Me: Otio (no o!) Its a lie! Did you get his autograph?

BA: No, i dont have money to waste buying his book.

Me: Omo! BA you yab sha!

BA: Abeg money good o! The guy looks actually cuter in person than on TV! Now i can add him to my list of stars whom i've see physically...

Now am not star struck or anything but if only i had answered her call, just maybe i would have seen taylor and added him also in my portfolio... At least i for fit say me too don see Taylor hicks or better yet "i know taylor hicks" ..Oh well. Lesson learnt
